I stumbled on your wonderful blog by accident. I was looking up some information on another Gluck instrument and came across your link. Ten years ago my congregation in PA was in the same position as you are now, eagerly awaiting the arrival of our rebuilt and greatly enlarges Schantz (3-52). No one would have thought of having a blog back then, I am enjoying watching the work. Your commentary is also excellent, I suspect you have been doing a tremendous job of education and keeping the congregation in the big picture.
I also love the blue pipes that will not be seen by anyone except the technicians.

…thanks for the thoughts! … it is enjoyable thinking of ways to communicate to a general audience some of the more esoteric stuff… Sebastian Gluck is looking forward to getting going with the tonal finishing on this starting September. He expects to be done by beginning of November or so. Come visit and play the organ when you can. best, john
